Remember that old crate of records your parents had stashed in the basement? Well we do too, and we’ve searched far and wide to find the ones we like, and boy do we know how to use them. At The Vintage Stylus, we have a huge collection of vintage vinyl records covering every genre you can think of. Chances are if you want to hear it, we’ve got it.

When it comes to working out a playlist, we love to work with our clients to discover the exact feel and vibe they are going for and to make that dream a reality. Our service includes a personal consultation to discuss your event in detail and a fully tailored music package to cover all stages of the event. So feel free to pick and choose what you want to hear, and what you and your guests want to dance to, or let us do the thinking for you. Either way you look at it, it's going to be one cranking party!

Not sure if we have it on vinyl? Want us to play a mix of the latest and greatest along with the old school classics? At The Vintage Stylus we can play all the classics as well as all your favorite jams that can't be found on vinyl. Whilst we love to spin our vinyl collection, we can also source and play any specific songs you have in mind, past or present, and work it in to our set seamlessly. You name it, we can play it!

Now, we all know that people like to show off their vinyl collection, and here at The Vintage Stylus we are defintely no exception. Just quietly, we are quite proud of our collection. Let’s have a little flick through our crates shall we?

THE 1980s

Before you try to tell us otherwise, yes the Eighties did happen. It was the era of neon and spandex, shoulder pads and leg warmers. But it had some great music right? Electro, pop, dance, and new-wave were the order of the decade, and Madonna, Prince and Michael Jackson were the holy trinity. The likes of Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, Grace Jones and George Michael provided dance floor classics, whilst other favourites like INXS, Queen, and Bruce Springsteen brought us stadium rock anthems. Sure they were a bit cheesy at times, but the Eighties were a whole lotta fun. Our Eighties collection will have your partying like its 1989!

By the early nineties, vinyl records had gone out of fashion. But all is not lost my friends, as here at The Vintage Stylus we have all your hits from the nineties and beyond covered. We’ve got hip-hop and nineties R'n'B; the girl power of Beyoncé, Rhianna, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga; the boyish charm of Justin Bieber and Frank Ocean; Indie anthems from the likes of The Strokes, Phoenix, and Artic Monkeys; and the absolute floor-filling genius of OutKast, Daft Punk, and Pharell Williams. All the single ladies put your hands up! Everybody rock your body! With our collection of hits from the nineties and beyond, you'll be saying 'Hit me baby one more time'. Booyah!
